Packaging for Shipping Gifts We tend to think of gift giving as a holiday thing or perhaps a special event such as an anniversary. The fact is that people and companies ship out a wide variety of gifts throughout the year as tokens of appreciation, an award for accomplishment or even just an intro or “welcome” kit. There are many reasons why you would want to ship a gift out to the recipient and even more reasons why the shipping container you use is important. A gift should appear thoughtful and personal. Not just an item thrown in a box filled with foam peanuts. A gift should arrive clean, orderly, and intact. Nothing ruins a moment or kills the WOW factor like a damaged gift. A gift should be brand consistent. A subtle reminder of where it came from is perfectly acceptable and expected.
